Pirates Cove is delighted to offer our Breakfast Club and Afterschool Services — a fun, welcoming home away from home, where your child can play, learn and thrive.
Our School-Aged Childcare programme provides a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment designed to support your child’s social, emotional and educational development. From exciting group activities and creative play to quiet time for homework and relaxation, every part of their day is thoughtfully planned to balance fun and learning.
With caring, qualified staff and a focus on building confidence, friendships and independence, we make sure your child feels happy, valued and supported from the moment they arrive. Whether joining us before school for a healthy breakfast or after class for an afternoon of adventure, Pirates Cove is the perfect place for children to unwind, explore and grow.
Our Services Include:
- Year-round childcare – breakfast club, afterschool, holiday childcare and activity camps for children 4 – 15 years old.
- NCS accepted – parents can claim €2.14 per hour, per child through the National Childcare Scheme. For more information visit www.ncs.gov.ie.
- Flexible hours – breakfast club from 7:30 a.m. & afterschool until 6 p.m.
- School collection and drop at a number of local schools in Riverchapel and Gorey.
- All Pirates Cove activities included such as Funcaves, Bowling, Adventure Golf, Bumper Boats & Mini Jeeps as well as arts & crafts, gardening, nature walks and more.
- Fresh nutritious hot meals and snacks provided daily.
- Safe and caring environment – dedicated play areas, fully qualified & Garda vetted staff and first aid trained, insured and Tusla registered.

Perfect for school-aged children, our Mid-Term (Halloween & Easter) and Summer Camps are packed with exciting, hands-on activities that make every day an adventure.
